  • not hold any office of profit under any govt. post
  • subscribed by at least 50 electors as proposers and 50 electors seconders.

  • indirectly by an electoral college
  • Secret ballot
  • wip is not issued
  • single transferable vote
  • 1971 census (GPSC)
  • secretary general LS and Secretary general RS are the ex-officier

  • elected members of both the Houses of Parliament
  • elected members of Legislative Assemblies of the states
  • elected members of Legislative Assemblies of the UT of Delhi & Puducherry(70th CAA, 1992)
